Last Thursday, I went to a shoot in San Francisco for NakedSword. I am beginning to love the drive from Sacramento to San Fran; I used to have some anxiety driving into such a huge city and I am sure I’m not the only on either. To back up a bit, I had lunch last week with the Production manager Si__, and the director of NakedSword Entertainment M_Pa__, followed by a meeting with the CEO Ti__. While I cannot really discuss the details of the whole bit just yet let’s just say I am crossing my fingers that I could fill the shoes of the opportunities presented if that makes sense.
The CEO Ti__, is an incredibly insightful person. The reason I mention this in particular, because during my meeting with him his plan included insights about the industry and where it was headed. He mentioned several key details that rang true with me concerning topics such as sex, community, and things of that nature. At least subject matter that I could easily see myself be a part of and passionate about. I also remember he is incredibly into sports which stuck out in my mind because it was a big part of who I was (and still am) back in college as an undergraduate.
A week after the lunch meeting, they casted me for filming. My original scene partner backed out however, they found a very handsome replacement. My new scene partner, Ty___, was incredibly nice and I am sure we had good chemistry (That always makes a scene better). I guess when it posts, we will find out! Upon arrival, I texted the Production manager. Since I arrived early, I decided to spent some time at a local coffee shop called Philz Coffee until it was call time. The director described to me a little bit about the scene/film called Undiscovered (more about it described later).
On set, they had a Makeup artist, Ric___, who I must say is extremely talented, kind, and drop dead gorgeous. “fashion and makeup can save your life” he tells everyone on set, which well, I’d love to describe to you why that is because it really is a fantastic story behind that statement but I don’t have permission to describe as such. Let’s just say its something straight out of a comic book.
The other fella on set was Le__, who helped with filming and taught us how to pose for the camera. “The light is your best friend”, he told me. I have to admit though, I felt pretty silly posing and staring at myself in front of a mirror making different faces BUT it was great practice. Very attractive, friendly, and helpful.
The director, M__ Pa___, is well known for videography! Wonderful energy and has a great eye for composition! Pa__ made the whole experience very fun and comfortable. I could not have been more lucky to have such a great director to work with 🙂
The Production Manager Si_____, is a clean-cut kind of guy with wonderful taste, and good charisma. He is also seemed incredibly efficient at his job and communication (email, text, calls, etc.) with me was consistent, prompt, and vigilant if that makes sense. He too, was on set, but left shortly after call time.
The still photos and behind the scene shots seemed to take the bulk of the time during shooting, which is not uncommon. I was pretty cold on set which made it slightly hard for me to get fully hard BUT that changed pretty quickly as the scene progressed (mmmm) (hehe). I really enjoyed the foreplay in this one; it has to be best up to date for me I think maybe. The basis of Undiscovered, without giving too much away, is unique really. Half documentary – half film, has the potential to give some insight in the shooting and filming process! I just hope I made a fantastic impression because I really fell in love with the process, the energy, and the director’s & CEO’s ideas!
When the scene comes out on NakedSword, I hope you’ll enjoy watching it as much as I help make it 😉 #support #support
